The most effective method to Throw a Party at a Club

Throwing a party at a club sets the stage for a memorable event. You're guaranteed a lively atmosphere, lots of music, and even if you don't see many people on your guest list, you'll still have a lively club atmosphere filled with lots of people. They are vital in planning and communicating with club owners ahead of time to organize a successful birthday event at the club.

Stage 1

Set a date for the party. Not all birthdays are on Fridays or Saturdays, so talk to the guest of honor about their choice of when the party should take place.

Stage 2

Write a list of potential clubs that have an atmosphere and reputation that the guest of honor enjoys. For example, if your guest of honor hates techno and house music, don't consider a club that has a reputation for playing only that kind of music. Similarly, if the guest of honor doesn't like the crowded atmosphere, skip the most popular club that has people queuing up to get to that part. Study your list and choose the most suitable club.

Stage 3

Call the chosen club and explain to the management that you would like to have a birthday party there. Consider your options. Most clubs will be able to provide you with a VIP table, booth or separate room. Reserve one of those options for your party date.

Stage 4

Talk to management about the music and ask if it would be possible for the DJ to play some of your guest of honor's favorite songs. Some clubs will request that you speak to the DJ on the night of the party, while some club managers will ask the DJ himself.

Stage 5

Ask if the club can accommodate cake. Some clubs will not allow you to bring food into their premises; Some will charge you a bite fee and others will serve club food and ask that you order directly from their dessert menu. If the club doesn't mind if you bring the cake, ask if you can keep the cake in their fridge until you're ready to serve it. Ask if they supply plates and cutlery or if you must bring your own.

Stage 6

Compile a guest list. Send electronic invitations via Facebook, email or any other resource, invite guests to the party, specifying the club's address and where your party will be located within the club, such as at the VIP table or VIP room. If you prefer, send paper invitations instead. Specify whether guests must bring gifts on the night of the party and whether the club has a dress code.

Stage 7

Give the names of the guests attending the party to the club manager so that they can be put on the VIP list. This will allow your guests to enter the club immediately. Since you will be bringing so much business to their club, management should follow up immediately.

Stage 8

Ask if there is coat room for the guest of honor after receiving the gift. The guest of honor and other party members will be dancing and singing throughout the night and unclaimed gifts can be stolen.

Stage 9

Keep your cell phone with you on the night of the party. If security is very tight that night, some guests may have trouble finding or entering the club.

Stage 10

Serve the cake during the third quarter of the party, when all or most of the guests have arrived. If possible, talk to the DJ about playing a special song while serving the cake.
